Our Lifted Hands, formerly known as Our Lending Hands, was founded in Southern California, 2021 by Jessica Whitfield. She had a vision and passion to serve the homeless community and bring hope to a seemingly hopeless space with the help of others. They provided resources to medical facilities, therapist, local food and clothe banks, shelters, welfare offices, and much more. There were also care packages given out that included food, water, first aid essentials, uplifting messages, and surveys that catered to personal needs. It was a great success and helped hundreds of the homeless and distressed. 

   It came to an end a few years later when she moved back to her hometown in Coffee County Alabama. The presence of homelessness wasn't as significant, but a community in need was apparent. In 2025 she revamped the non-profit and it became Our Lifted Hands. With the help of others, we plan to make a positive impact in the community and beyond. The goal is to serve those in need, and bringing a hope and a future the way God intended.
